With the implementation of waste sorting policies and the construction of waste classification and processing systems, the number of trash bins is set to multiply. As essential waste collection devices, trash bins must undergo regular, scheduled cleaning and disinfection to prevent the proliferation of bacteria, viruses, insects, and flies, which could otherwise disrupt daily life and pose risks to public health.

Currently, most trash bin cleaning is performed manually—typically involving simultaneous rinsing with water and scrubbing with a cloth—a method prone to causing secondary pollution. While the use of handheld high-pressure water guns by sanitation workers represents a more advanced approach, the lack of suitable venues and equipment often results in wastewater flowing unchecked after cleaning, thereby inadvertently expanding the contaminated area. Consequently, in response to this situation, specialized vehicle manufacturers have developed a dedicated vehicle for cleaning trash bins: the Trash Bin Cleaning Vehicle.

The structure of the Trash Bin Cleaning Vehicle comprises a Class II chassis, a body assembly, a cleaning mechanism, and a bin-clamping and flipping mechanism. All major structural components and parts are manufactured from stainless steel. The interior of the body assembly houses various systems, including electrical controls, pneumatics, hydraulics, a high-pressure water circuit, a heating system, and a wastewater recovery system.

The body assembly features an advanced design utilizing a single-layer stainless steel structure. It is equipped with guardrails to ensure safety protection, and its rear door features a novel aesthetic design. Internally, the assembly is partitioned into a cleaning chamber, a wastewater tank, a fresh water tank, and an equipment compartment. An observation window, an operation panel, and a bus control panel are strategically positioned on the right side of the cleaning chamber.

The Bin-Clamping and Flipping Mechanism consists of hydraulic cylinders, clamping rods, and clamping blocks. It features elastic clamping blocks designed to prevent damage to the bin's rim during the clamping process. The flipping mechanism utilizes a hydraulic cylinder to drive a rack-and-pinion system; this causes a rotating shaft—connected to a driven gear—to rotate, thereby flipping the trash bin into the designated cleaning position. The entire mechanism is characterized by its compact structure, reliable clamping action, and high operational efficiency.

The Inner-Wall Lifting Cleaning Mechanism features cleaning nozzles mounted on a rotating base. Driven by the force of the water flow, the nozzles—along with their rotating base—spin around a central axis. Simultaneously, a hydraulic cylinder drives the mechanism to move vertically (up and down), thereby completing the cleaning of both the inner walls and the bottom of the bin. This system delivers high pressure, covers a large cleaning area, and operates with high efficiency, capable of completing the entire cleaning cycle for the inner walls and bottom of the bin within a single vertical stroke.

The Outer-Wall Cleaning Mechanism. A motor-driven rotating brush assembly spins the brush disc while simultaneously orbiting the central axis; this action, combined with high-pressure water jets, effectively cleans the exterior walls of the waste bins.

The waste bin cleaning vehicle is equipped with an electronic control system. Once the bins are securely clamped in place, the operator simply needs to press a single "One-Touch Clean" button to execute the entire cleaning cycle—making the process both convenient and rapid.

There are eight distinct operating modes: 1. Standard Cleaning Mode: Executes a routine automatic cleaning sequence utilizing both rotating brushes and high-pressure water rinsing. 2. Intensive Cleaning Mode: Extends the duration of the cleaning cycle beyond that of the Standard Mode. 3. Automatic Mode: Performs cleaning operations automatically according to a preset schedule. 4. Maintenance Mode: Allows for the isolated operation and calibration of individual functions. 5. 240L Bin Cleaning Mode: Configured for cleaning 120L and 240L capacity waste bins. 6. 660L Bin Cleaning Mode: Configured for cleaning 660L capacity waste bins. 7. Ambient Temperature Mode: Operates without activating the water heater. 8. High-Temperature Mode: Activates the water heater to perform cleaning operations using hot water jets.

The waste bin cleaning vehicle serves a dual function: cleaning waste bins and recovering wastewater. The interior of the cleaning chamber features a 360-degree rotating brush and spray assembly capable of comprehensively scrubbing the exterior surfaces of the bins. This ensures a thorough, "dead-angle-free" cleaning process, guaranteeing a high level of hygiene and superior cleaning results. Detergents and disinfectants can be added as needed, and the water within the tank can be recycled for reuse, thereby maximizing operational efficiency.

The vehicle is capable of simultaneously cleaning the exteriors—as well as rinsing the interiors and lids—of various combinations of standard waste bins: specifically, two 120L bins, two 240L bins, or one 120L bin paired with one 240L bin. Each vehicle can clean between 300 and 400 waste bins per day; the cleaning cycle for each bin takes between 50 and 90 seconds, consuming an average of 5 to 10 liters of water per bin.

Designed specifically for waste bin sanitation, this specialized vehicle features a compact, well-engineered, and aesthetically pleasing structure. It employs a fully enclosed cleaning system that prevents wastewater from spilling onto the surrounding environment. Furthermore, the wastewater generated during cleaning can be recycled, allowing for the conservation of water resources and preventing secondary contamination of road surfaces.
